Gerina-Piller

She was born on 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She has Mexican heritage, but is American as a national. Her passion for sports started as a young kid. Gerina started playing golf when she was 15. Gerina was a graduate of Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she took home her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. She also had her volleyball skills recognised at a national scale. 2003was the year she started studying in the University of Texas. While in her senior years she was a winner of every tournament she entered. During her undergrad career, she won her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female athlete of the year.
